e92 HID fogs... 35watt or 55watt?

I can't seem to find a real solid answer... what are all of you people using? Can I get away with a 55watt kit not throwing a code? Or will I have to hack in some resistors no matter which I go with?

I just installed HID fogs. They work great and don't throw any codes. Only cost $75 shipped!

If your original bulb is 55watt, then my bet is on the 55watt kit, no direct experience though.

not for HID. 55watt will be way too bright.
