Did you remove ALL of the floor, all the way to the back seat? Not just the central hatch.

i've got a 2005 build 130i with pro radio, bluetooth and voice dialing. no cd changer or usb, the fact its a 1 series makes no odds, could be a 2005 e90 with the same spec stuff.

i spoke to my dealer who expectedly said i could not retro fit the full usb/ipod.

i'm now a little confussed as to what i need/ can it be done. the part number on the module in the boot is 84 21 6-972678. i can't actually find this on realoem, if i put my chassis no in (PS88632), again can't find it.

does my car have the most bus required and is my bluetooth module the old mulf/mulf2 (assume its not the new tcu module)

any help would be much appreciated.

Just booked mine in for the iPod adaptor install with Vines in Redhill.

£395 inc vat, plus they are doing a full software update while it's in.

It's not the full USB installation, but it'll do exactly what I want it to do

Yep... cost is about the same as a Dension HW500 DIY kit, but it's all done by BMW and the car gets a full software update too more importantly.

Do you get this to work? thanks.
