What would be considered a lowball offer on a $29,750 car? Help!!
Hey guys
I want to make an offer on a 2004 M3. He is asking $29,750 and I want to offer $27,500. That is about what my residual is on my 335i which is coming up fast... plus the car is in Cali and I would have to ship it to Ohio. He states "no stupid offers". Would this be considered an offensive "low ball offer" because I dont want to do that, but this is all I want to spend. Nothing much more than what it would cost to buy my 335i. Thanks

I personally wouldn't consider that a lowball offer, but then again I don't know what that car is worth. If that car has been for sale for awhile, maybe he'll take it. Or not. But you have nothing to lose. Of course you'd need to see, drive, and inspect the car and make the offer in person....
