FN CAB!!!

So I have been meaning to post this up. This happened the weekend before Thanksgiving. I was making a left turn and the Cab was making a right turn and did not stay in his lane! BTW this was 3 days after making my first payment! $5000.00 in damage.

another long story short. He is now saying that i ran a red light wich is BS so his insurance company is fighting the claim. The good news is that the police report states that its his fault so.

thats weird i have the same color car and wheels and i got hit in the same exact place too a while ago. Does your door open? Mine didn't i think theres some bmw safety precaution where the door doesn't open or something.

never even checked. It went to the shop the next day. I think I will be able to pick it up Friday!!

ouch... sorry to hear you got into an accident so soon after u picked up your car... at least no one got hurt and the damage wasnt too bad.

well it does not take much to get 5 grand in damage! I should be able to pick up the car today at lucnh! 24 days to it get back!!!

is it me or does most motorists on the road don't get about the right of way is to turn into your own lane? I mean to go in/out of the apartment I'm living in, I have to go thru a 4-way cross junction (with traffic lights). Every time I exit and need to make a left, I turn left when light is green, but wait for the cars that go straight to my apartment. When the cars turn right, I go and proceed and turn left, and then they honk at me because I turned into the left lane (FYI, I'm turning into a main road from my apartment and it has 5 lanes, 2 in each direction and a change lane). I GET HONKED FOR BEING RIGHT?! And I make proper turns and so my car doesn't drift out to the right lane, because in green light, the cars turning right has the right of the way to the right lane, but I HAVE the right of the way to the left lane. Just my 2 cents.

the cab was coming in the opposite direction.... cab turned right while the OP turned left on the same street... cab didnt stay in his lane, resulting in this collision....

i feel like i should be on CSI....

sucks to be you man... only thing to do is get it fixed and move on.... its not the end of the world.... just shouldnt have happened.

duh!

i was picturing a 4 way intersection but for some reason the direction of travel where the 2 cars were directly opposite from each other didn't occur to me.

That sucks... I hate when people don't stay in their lane.

My question is... Was there a light at this intersection? Was the light green with an arrow or just green?

Reason being because if you had the arrow then he needed to stop. If you had the green light with no arrow then he has the right of way, no matter what lane he was turning into. Not blaming you, but just trying to get a picture of what happened...

When I bought my Tacoma... it was more then three days either that someone rear ended me... people suck
