$1000 to spend, H&R spring+SSTT or Coilover???
hi guys, i fianlly saved up money, and i got $1000 to spend on my car.
im thinking. lowering. should i get H&R Sports spring + SSTT or Coilover set??? |

Coilovers are going to run you more than $1000. Also remember that we dont usually recommend running just springs alone. So if you're looking to get a set of aftermarket shocks & springs, it would run you about $850 for a set or so + $250 for install.

If you're going to get coilovers, don't waste your money on a kit that comes with subpar dampers. Keep saving up for a quality set: do it right, once.
$2000 should be enough for an awesome kit. On the other hand, if you don't care about handling, and just want the looks, go for some springs. |

Right, if you are going to do coils, get the full setup with height and rebound adjustment. I personally only advocate coils if the end user will really take advantage of the height and dampening adjusters. Otherwise, it's overkill IMO.
