EFI Logics Intro, Picture and Dyno Day!

Hi, everyone. Please allow me to introduce EFI Logics and myself. My name is Josh and I represent EFI Logics here on Bimmerpost. Some of you may already be familiar with EFI Logics, but for those of you who are not, EFI Logics is an automotive performance facility located in Bethel, CT offering tuning and mechanical services for BMW, Subaru, Ford, Mitsubishi, GM and many other vehicles. Housed in a state of the art 7000sq/ft facility including 4 Lifts, a Mustang All Wheel Drive 500SE dyno, all the fabrication and building tools needed and some of the most talented mechanics in the Northeast, EFI Logics has the ability to make your dream a reality.

EFI Logics has built an impressive reputation among enthusiast communities due to the team’s unsurpassed expertise in the tuning combined with exemplary mechanical skill that is visible in every project completed. Take a look at what others are saying HERE.

Please allow me to introduce you to the team:

Chris Schoen-Kiewert - Lead Calibrator / Partner

Joe Liuzzi - Import Tech, Lead BMW Technician
Jack Laverty - Shop Foreman / Lead Fabricator
Rob Asencio - Subaru Master Tech / Lead Powertrain Engineer
Pete Sohl - Shop Manager / Customer Service Representative
Devin Gregory - Race car Driver / Partner

Here is a glimpse at the facility.

Here are few of the projects EFI Logics has worked on.

With the introduction of EFI Logics, we would like to host a BMW dyno day one Saturday in April or May to get to know everybody and get the dyno rollers moving! Let us know when works best for you guys and we’ll set it up!

Click HERE for more information on EFI Logic’s new custom calibration service offered for N54 135i and 335i!

Thanks for looking! We look forward to doing business with you in the near future.

I was just on your website right before you posted this thread. Looks like you have a top notch operation. It would be great to have a BMW dyno day.

Thanks, friend!

Let us know on what date you guys would like to do it and we'll coordinate. We can most likely get 25 cars on the dyno for the day. Once I get a sense of when everyone is around I will start a thread dedicated for the dyno day.

Great idea, Waski!

Everyone who wants to ensure a spot on the dyno day please add your name to the list along with the Saturday in late April or early May that you would like to have it. Once we get a nice, solid list we will set it up!

Indeed down for a Dyno day. You guys are very close to me and my buddy has gone to you before for some Subaru work. He spoke very highly of you guys as well.

Good luck on the forums and I hope we will see you guys to be an active part of the BMW community. It would be great to have a local shop host some awesome events for us CT people.

Also, have you guys looked into some other tunes that people on these forums are running??

I know you guys are very experienced with Cobb because it is used highly in the Subaru division but i have a Procede that i'd like fine tuned since I don't know nearly as much as you guys know in tuning.

Any experience in that??

We know there are other tuning solutions available, but as of right now we are only offering custom tuning through the Cobb AP. If anything changes we will make sure to let you know.

Looking forward to this. I may have a buddy with his e92 M that he'd like to bring to dyno also.

Thanks for putting this together Chris. My buddy Mark has told me nothing but good things about you guys. He has both an 08 STI and a 2010 Legacy.

It's refreshing to open our doors to a new platform. When I purchased my 535x I realized that these cars were fantastic cars to drive, and the market for them is really strong. We've been focusing on getting through this economy, keeping our business model focused on ensuring customer satisfaction, and trying not to over extend ourselves. Many people know that we don't just work on anything that comes in the door, if we don't know the car, we simply will not put your project at risk, and we will recommend you to a place that we may feel will better suite your needs.

The BMW platform is the first new platform we have opened to our shop since we opened, but personally, I have worked and calibrated them before at my old shop, so this is not a new car to us by any means. It's going to be refreshing working on a new platform, talking with the enthusiasts, and maybe even get you guys out on the track with us to do some DE and Road Racing stuff

Although I may not be on the forums as much as I'd like, I will try to answer all your questions in a timely manner. Josh has played an integral part in getting this kicked off for us, and he will be answering most of the questions on the forums, keeping in close contact with us. As always, we welcome the phone calls (today has been crazy with BMW calls!) and emails and will always try to be as helpful as we can with your build.

Thanks,

Chris

I can't do April 28/29th so I say any other weekend. Maybe Saturday April 14th?

Thanks for chiming in Chris. I asked you guys a few weeks ago about my 5 series touring on facebook. You had mentioned yours so I am looking forward to see what is in store for my car.

By the way, what will be the price to just do a dyno? No calibration needed.
