Help --> Style 157 on a 07' 335i Sport

Just swapped to a set of style 157 wheels with 225/50/17 tires for the winter and realized the front brake calipers are rubbing (ever so slightly). I was told these would fit without any issue, but obviously that is not the case.

What spacers do I need to run in order to make this work?

Please help.

Got a pic of the issue? I have probably 1k miles on the exact same setup on my '09 E92 with zero issues.

None at the moment, but the bottom outside edge of the calipers are rubbing by less than 1mm (?) - enough to engrave a ring inside the rim. I'm also getting some tire rubbing issues when turning to wheel to the right.

Show us some photos. Where is your tire rubbing? The brake is hitting the inside of the spoke or the barrel of the wheel?

interesting. im running the same set up on my stock 08 335i sedan with sport package without any issues

Are you sure those are OEM stock style 157 wheels? in those pics the wheels tend to convex in a flat straight angle from where the openings for the lugs start towards the outer lip where as on the 157 stocks they curve at the point when they convex

Maybe its just the pics and the angle.

Did some Google searching and found similar threads on another forum. Looks like I'll need 5mm hubcentric spacers.

Did you end up running spacers? I have a set of 157 wheels coming that I plan to use as winter set on my 335i sport. So I am trying to determine if I need to do the same. Strange how some are running without issue while some have rubbing issues.

Hmm...that's weird. Especially since some peeps are running them with zero issue but you're rubbing. How much material do you have left on your brake pads? (just curious)

From the pics in this thread, I see there is quite a big step on the inner lip of the barrel:

For future reference, the image posted above is not a style 157 wheel. It is a style 243 from a 5-series E60. As such, it would have the wrong offset to use on an E90 (243 comes in 20 and 43 offsets, we need a 34).
Here are the two styles for comparison: Note the curved ridges on the spokes near the bolt holes on the style 243...
