Just wanna let you guys (especially those who ordered around xmas) know that I ordered my 335i 10 days before christmas on Dec 15, and i just received the production dated 2 days ago. And the person who i spoke to on the 800 # told me to they expect the car to finish production Jan 15. So hopefully for those of you who ordered their car few days after i did, you will get your production days within these few days.

I ordered my car on November 3rd. I just now finally figured out what ship it's on from searching this site. My salesman had no idea, said there was no way for them to find what ships our cars are on. Looks like it wont arrive till Feb 8th here in California. My total order time looks to be about 4 months. The owner's circle site said awaiting transport for litterally 3 weeks. I'm on the vessel Tagus.

My car is a 328 sedan, Crimson Red, Black leatherette, aluminum trim, sport package, logic 7, sirius, usb/iPod with manual transmission. I can't wait!

Anybody else have a car on Tagus?

Your salesman is FOS. Each dealership has a system where they can track information like what ship you car's on, and what the expected delivery date is.

Please see the attached posting earlier in this tread, with a screen shot of what your dealer should be able to see on thier system...

show two ships leaving Bremerhaven one on 01-20 Maersk Petras and
01-27 Maersk Perang.....then a third on 02-03-08 Maersk Palermo

does anyone else have any other info...haven't yet found out if my 335i cv
is on any of these...got to try to find out if it will be on any of these...what has anyone else found out about vehicles just completed?

I ordered mine on Dec 19 and it was "production complete" on Jan 10 when i called the BMW 1-800 number. It now says waiting for transportation at port Bremerhaven. I called my dealership. The sales doesnt even know they have a tool to track the order status...i am kinda mad. I think the sales learned much more about BMW's products than i did through this whole thing....

Isn't it sad when we know more then the dealers, then again Salesmen aren't hired to know anything about the car, but how to sell to schmucks. Were in the 5% who actually care and sell the cars to ourselves Hell I would go over and work on the assembly line if I could.

When did you last call the 800 number? I called every day and was just told on 1/18 that my car was "in transit" to California. Maybe we're on the same boat.

Good for you! Just called now, it says "this application isnt available due to maintanese". Will call again tomorrow. So yours is on Hudson Leader?

Don't know yet... My dealer hasn't responded to my email and when I checked out the shipping website, it required that you list a company name and business. Does anyone have any advice for accessing the NYK website?

I just called the 1-800 number again, it says "at the port awaiting for shipping vessel, there is no further shipping information at this point". I think yours may be on Hudson Leader, which was travelling through English Channel last nite (on http://www.vesseltracker.com/). Mine is more likely to be on Aphrodite Leader.... Btw, i think you should call your dealer instead of emailing...my dealer doesnt check email

I'm new to this forum. Ordered my first ever (Bimmer) 335i sedan this past weekend. Got a call from the dealer today stating that they have my VIN#, and that my car is in production. I live here in the Bay Area, and would like to get some feedback on what would be a realistic date for my car to arrive at the dealership.

Welcome..

If your car just went into production, you can probably expect it to get to the dealer sometime around mid to late March.
