What will it cost if you are a non participant? I've gone to the test and tunes before, but always with my car so I'm not sure if there is a cost if I just go, park, and observe. I just got my V2 so I am interested!

I think it's about $10 or so just to watch... Kinda sucks.

If you just got your V2 why do you want to go just to watch?

I would be interested in going. How many runs can we expect from the 12-4pm session?

I'm down for that. Will get to see what V2.02 with 98 octane and stock exhaust can really do.

I'd like to see an update for this.
What happened?
What were the good times?

Update:

Nobody from here showed up. I went with a couple of my friends and had a pretty good time there... 50 degree weather all day and sunny. Track wasn't hooking the best and only 1 small incident where an elco blew up the tranny/motor early in the day and sprinkled parts down the track. They cleaned it up quickly though and we resumed running with VHT laid down halfway through the track.

I ran pretty crap. 13.7x @ 103.x, with 2.1x 60' times all day. Had 2 bad runs where I totally screwed the pooch, but all my other were basically all the same times with a few hundredths difference. No mods (just lowered which may have hurt the launch a tiny bit, but essentially insignificant).

Every time I shifted into 2nd it was grinding. Clutch all the way in, powershift, same result... Grind into 2nd. I ended up stopping about an hour early since there was no point abusing the tranny any longer to run bad times. I could shift slow but that kind of defeats the point of drag racing.

Very few cars. I took breaks in between and ended early and still got something like 7 or 8 runs. My friend got 10 runs with breaks. Some Mustangs were hot lapping it and got something like 15-20 runs. Nice and empty day there, and I got a free pass for next TnT.

My friend Drew went with his supercharged e46 M3. I haven't talked to him yet, but do you know what he ran? I was hoping he would get high 11s to low 12s.

Honestly there weren't too many fast cars there. A few newer turbo mustangs that showed up, but one broke and one didn't get the best runs out of the hole. The usual 03/04 Cobras in the 11s if I remember correctly... C6Z06 running 11.1s. Pretty fast turbo fox-body hitting 10.0-10.1, looked enough like a street car. Saw an old friend in a WS6 doing 10.6ish with bad launches on a transbrake... Few fast bikes and "all-out" drag cars running in the 8s.

A pretty typical drag day. I was hoping to see some fast 9 second street cars or sleepers in the 8s but not too much of that action going on unfortunately.

Thanks for the update. I would like to go next time. You said you did like 7-8 runs. How long did you have to wait in between runs? Is that number of runs typical?

Anywhere from 3 minutes to 30 minutes, mostly about 15 minutes or so. Definitely not typical to get that many runs in about 3 hours. I did my first 2 runs in about 10 mins I believe, and more cars showed up and the wait was a little longer.
