335i STOCK dyno numbers

the first 2 runs were done on dyno dynamics and the 3rd was done from a dyno jet.

do these numbers sound about right? i mean it says im putting about 360lbs of torque?!? well anyways... im just curious to know if anyone else had the same hp that im puttin down to the wheels with a stock e92 335i.

edit: oh heres the link to some of the pics i took at the run...

It tells you there is a huge difference in the way different Dynos read and are calibrated. Mustang and Dyno Dynamics read much lower than Dynojet just like in your case. Really all a stock Dyno does is give you a baseline run to compare against any gains you see after mods.

Even though it is tempting to think you may have gotten a factory freak, the reality is the tight tolerances, consistency and quality of BMW's is part of what makes them great, but also why they are all pretty much created equal form the factory.

In other words the 225HP from the DD doesn't mean your car is weak and the 360 torque on the DJ doesn't mean it is stonger than average, the numbers are simply baselines and will be meaningful if you use the same Dyno in similar conditions after you mod

radgator: Well said. Perhaps the DJ read much higher then Mustang and all other load dynos.

ohsnapzitze92: Just curious how you got a DJ graph printed out on your DD print out? DD is a nice piece of equipment. Thank you for sharing!

Makes sense. But the high numbers are a bit too optimistic. Even on an inertia Dyno. Btw It looks like it made about 331 tq not 360. Look on the right column. Thanks for sharing.
