That really sucks dude. I got a dash cam for stupid stuff like this. Although its on the side of the car the jerk might have walked in view of the cam.

The last time I spoke to Alex at Blackboxmycar he just set up a second camera facing the rear on his own car. Definitely a good idea.

I can't believe people do this!?!? It's clearly someone who doesn't own anything nice of their own and takes out their frustrations on others!

Hope you make out ok with getting this fixed! Sweet looking E90!

The guy who scratched the car may frequent the area, so you know what he looks like and you may be able to get them to pay for the repairs. It's better then having zero chance of finding out who it is and paying for the damages out of your own pocket.

I'm sorry, but from an inside camera how are you going to prove that this person scratched you car ? he can say he was just passing by, no win here.

This is what I was getting at. Cops wont/cant do shit with that. They'll just say "tough luck" as they do for all of these cases. It's hard to get criminals to pay in this Country.

Damn that sucks! Sorry you have to deal with that. A lot people just like to vandalize nice cars cause they perceive all people who drive nice cars look down on those that don't. You might want to try Ron at Street Xtreme (he hosted the bbq meet a few weeks back). Also agree with some of the other guys, cops aren't gonna care about petty stuff like this, even if there is a video. They'll just tell you to go through insurance or settle it privately.

People are fuggin stupid!

My car was keyed twice in Brampton, I have lived in B-town for almost 20 years now. Was such a nice city. Now its filled with punk ass kids.

Sorry to see this happen to such a cleanly modded car. Alot better than the crap i see on the regular now.

If it was someone I recognize, maybe someone that has something against you or a neigbourhood punk - I'd make sure I get double my money back. Street justice is real justice.

Wow.. you sound like a scary tough guy.. how intimidating.

It's sad that people have this tough-guy "street" mentality... especially over a car being keyed. You would risk running up on someone and cutting your life short because there are a lot of people packing Glock 19's. It shows how immature people can be, that they would risk their character, their safety and most importantly, have absolutely no regard for their family members by trying to be a tough guy. I'm sure your parents, family and friends would think you're a real tough guy when you're involved in a violent altercation and worst case, end up dead.

Well put. Internet tough guys are marginally more intelligent than primordial slugs.
