A night from Irwindale.

So yesterday I went to Irwindale speedway.


My mods:

Jb3 91 oct.
RR Dp
Britalman Exhaust
AFE intake
19" m6 reps


My best run.

60' - 2.046
330- 5.544
1/8 -8.379
Mph-87.26

The weather was hot 88F when I got there.

Higher octane would really help you out in those conditions.
1000+ Elevation, 88F, etc.

Lol. Im not sure if that pretty good. Most cars there are doing 8.5 - 9.0 so I guess is ok.

I'm not sure, but if I'll do 12.4 on my 19" m6 reps then I'll be happy.



Probably some lighter wheels, Drag radial and higher octane next time.
Also I need to practice on my launching.
8.3x @ 87.x is around 12.8-12.9@109-110mph in the 1/4mi.

Not bad at all considering octane, altitude, temps and mods!

With some favorable weather, octane and tires mid 12s in the hundred-teens mph should be possible. It's going to be tough without sticky tires.

u won't.......as you said lighter wheels, stickier tires, higher octane, stronger map......and you'll hit that number and MAYBE better.

i thought irwindale was only 750ft above sea level?

for reference, i just ran the 1/8th at CountyLine, a 7.98 @ 92.5 mph... 93 octane though :P 60' of 2.057 and the place is so cheap they dont have a 330' LOL

as said, im going to fixx fest, ill let you know my numbers at the 1/4th there
