OES Genuine Water Pump (optimized metal impeller)

Found this Water Pump on AutoPartsWarehouse... i was going through their inventory after buying a cabin air filter and found this. Supposedly cheaper and better... i think the next person's N52 to take a dump on them should try it out... it has a 1 year (12,000 mile) warranty.

Great find.
So this is an OEM mfg. I recall that on the past the OEMs have solved issues with BMW parts.
Do you know who is the OE mfg? And what is this optimized impeller, is it the part that fails on OE pumps?
Does anyone know if Bmw changed the impeller design through their 3 iterations of part numbers.

Looking at my impeller after i took my old water pump apart, the blades and everything seem fine... i'm assuming something electrical? I'm not really sure. I don't know about the OE mfg either... if you're that curious, i would suggest emailing them and find out for yourself.

Granted, theirs comes with the hardware and assuming the parts geek one does not...pretty sure its under $20 to get a set, maybe just $10ish.
