:D Just installed JB4!!
Took about an hour but everything went smoothly. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet what do you guys suggest to start with just map 1 or go straight to map 5? Only other performance mod is DCI

Congrats. Its a slippery slope from here.
I would go with Map5 since it self adjust to your mods.

Go to Map 5 and do 3-4 WOT runs to let FFMAX learn, and match the PWM curve

Better yet, some find 100 octane race gas and run map 7, gave me biggest on my face

I got a stock 08 335i 4dr just put the jb4 on it all i can say she is a beast mod bug has bit me looks like horsepower freaks are going to get a call soon

Car pulls like a frieght train on map 5 with e85!!! had a little less than half a tank of 91oct so added 2 gallons of e85 and car feels good. E85 stations are way nicer than normal stations LOL had to drive 30 mins just to get to it, so worth it though!!

i just recently put a jb4 on my 2010 335..
map one was all fantastic and whatnot.. then i went to map five.. map five knows how to party for sure. then two days later my factory charge pipe exploded. i only had 30k miles too! if you are still on stock charge pipe me careful with map 5 lol |

Investing in after market CP is a wise choice when tuned. Suggest getting one that uses the OEM clip, others that use pipe clamps are more prone to blow off.
