i don't believe he went into much detail for control arms. probably enough for someone with experience, but i need a DIY that "holds my hand"

i can follow instructions, but i'd rather not improvise and end up paying for a tow truck

this, it was a pain in the ass to squeeze in there. I did the install myself and it's worth it if you have the extra cash laying around. There is definitely more feedback from the front end.

bmw raised the prices. it probably won't be cheap any time soon.

i think someone was selling them privately for $200-300 a couple months ago. i regret not jumping on it

And only going to get steeper..BMW has caught on that the modding community is using the M3 arms as upgrade parts..just as frame of reference:

The m3 front control arm kit including wishbones, tension rods, and headlight regulating rod was $405..at the time I purchased..now they are $520

No vendors will be able to give much of a break on these as they come from BMW..and the margins are way to low to begin with

HPA is your best bet..he maybe able to work some kinda of package deal for you guys.

Nice that's a good price. ECS did well by me with the wheels...so I will support them.

This might be a good option, I also hate the steering feel on the car....so numb, but it is a fat piggy.

The components for the M are interchangeable between the 1 and 3 series..so there is nothing that will come out

They front and rear m3 control arms, sway bars and rear subframe bushings all fit the e82/e90/e92/e93..most parts will not fit x models

There are hard core Autocross-er's here. Who want the car to handle very aggressively and quickly. All those benefits will be found after installing the M3 front control arms.

We first did the R&D back in 2008 and no one had these control arms on a car longer than we have. 40K street,track and competition miles later they came off of the car and was sold used, but in great condition. The same arms are still on a customer's car today.

They will most certainly outlast the oem ones you currently have on the car.

Better feel without a doubt. Increased neg camber also improves cornering ability with little to no excess tire wear. Highly recommended and can all be done in your garage. Great mod for roughly $500. And yes, this will give you exactly what you're looking for.

I don't know how you could get more understeer with more camber in the front....this might be because of other mods also (sways, coilovers and so on)

i was thinking of getting the track bar but i heard it wouldnt work so i installed the mr adjustable arm. I figured if it fits on 1m maybe it might fit on the 335i

Understeer has been reduced. Fact. It has been some time since I've done this mod so I could be wrong about the feel. Perhaps it is slightly heavier but as you said, that's not a negative.
