Aftermarket brake pad for bmw performance bbk

Anyone know of good after market brake pad options for bmw performance bbk. The bmw oem ones wear really fast and produces alot of brake dust. Looking at something more heavy duty, lasting and hopefully better bite as well

Cool Carbon Brake pads are good.
I currently have Pagid Red brake pads, they're okay. Thinking about getting new pads and rotors soon though

+1 on Cool Carbon- we have a number of customers running these on BMW BBK's; great improvement over OE and generally about 1/3 the dust; plus much better pedal feel and ability to modulate and very consistent performance.

My vote also goes for the Porterfield RS4. I am currently running those and so far, they've been excellent.

Do they squeak a lot or is that just all pads in general?

Surprisingly enough, mine do not squeak at all, even though I did not put any anti squeak paste on them. ..and yes, they are bedded in correctly.

I vote Stoptech Street Performance pads. They had great initial bite, low fade, less dusty than oem but were dustier than the CC pads I owned.

Cool great to hear tt there are quitr a few available options other than the bmw oem pads. Heard tt pagid pads r good but a tad noisy. Many followers of porterfield and CC, guess its down to brand prference and what you are looking for.

Not looking at track application, just spirited street w focus on less dust, good bite n hopefully longevity. My current oem pads only lasted 18k

We've seen many with wear exceeding 35k/40k+ miles for spirited street driven cars. We run them on our own cars and have been very pleased. We offer other choices but CC is always our top recommendation.

I believe this is a post for pads for a BBK kit.

Stoptech comes in red, black, silver, yellow or blue.

Porterfield makes brake pads only.

Most people don't give Porterfield enough credit because they don't spend the time marketing their brake pads some of the other companies do. However, they are often the top choice for street and race pads for those who know Porterfield and the top notch pads they make.
