bmw 335 waste gate rattl anyone in GTA that can help

Hey everyone. As title states I'm looking to adjust my waste gate actuator. It is making that annoying rattle whenever I let go of the throttle. Anyone that can adjust it or know of a shop it would be greatly appreciated I'm located on bradford ontario but I'm willing to drive to someone. Please let me know! Thanks guys!!!

WG rattle is notorious in all N54's, especially pre-LCI's.

I recommend you get newer turbos because there is no permanent fix and it's an excuse to upgrade lol. Adjusting can be done on one and on the hot aide it's a disaster so GL - it's a lot of work and not worth the trouble

Ivo @ columbus auto can tighten it, but there are no guarantees it will work and for how long.
And as mentioned it depends which turbo.
Ultimately i just changed mine to the newest OEM turbos and have been happy every since, nice and quite.

This is also because sometime in 2010/11 BMW finally realized that crummy as copper 6mm actuator rod was seizing up causing the rattle everyone experience.

The new OEM turbos are the exact same thing, but the actuator rods are now 8mm and made of titanium if I'm not mistaken. A better material anyways....

Trust me the waiste gate rattle doesn't hurt, a lot of bad ass turbo cars have all kinds of weird rattly sounds.. actually usually the most bad ass race cars sound all funky and rattly when cruising slow.

We've helped many get wastegate rattle under control through our Cobb protune. If you're running a Cobb AP we can take care of it for ya and make some nice power gains while at it we're in Toronto
