With a simple search you would have found this topic posted over 50 times. People cant say which one is better or wtv without starting a tuner war. Just search and make up your own opinion.
Ps: you wont be disappointed with either one.

I went with COBB. I felt more comfortable heavily modding my car with a flash based tune that would alter fueling tables & cam timing. I also liked the simplicity of data logging & fault code reading with the COBB AccessPORT. I haven't been disappointed with the performance & love the results (160 WHP/170 WTQ gains over Stock Tune).

The OP already got hit with the bomb, so there wasn't any point on continuing down that road

It's also important that we all step back & acknowledge the fact that without flashing the DME, you cannot maximize the N54s power potential. COBB/GIAC have always been flash-based, but the JB4/PROcede have both recently released flash support for their piggyback tunes.

OP -- If you have any additional questions, write them in here or write on my user wall (I can't PM)

stacking JB4 + Cobb, especially if you have a 6AT is critical for proper operation. I was someone in the "flash is better" camp, but I'm running JB4 ISO + Cobb right now.

You already have a proven tune, I would not take a hit, sell a gift and get something that is not necessarily better. Just different with similar reliability and performance.

Thank you for you guys for you input. I like the feature of the COBB where it is a real flash and done throught the OBD port.
not like spool of spaghetti wires like the JB4 and at least my Autologic will still be able to communicate for CIP reports.

If your in northern VA and need service, I can provide better price and service than the dealer with complimentary loaner car and we offer a 3 year / 36000 mile warranty on parts and labor and use only genuine BMW parts.

Thanks again for the input, looks like I will be selling the JB4. have a great week
