Who is sitting at the port?

According to the 800#, I arrived at the port on 2/28. Waiting for a ship.

ahhh sh*t!

just called my dealer he said I'm still 4 weeks away atleast!...this sucks!!!! what do i do?!!

Mine is at the port too. There is a ship called the INTEGRITY leaving Bremenhaven today. Hopefully all our cars will get on it. The Integrity is cheduled to arrive in Charleston, SC on the 25th. I think that's why he is saying 4 weeks. You should have it by the 1st, so get ready, if you are buying extra stuff for it, now is the time as you sit there doing nothing but calling the 800 number and your Sales Associate 4 or more times a day.

Vilkz...once your car sets sail, figure about 2 weeks to get to your final port (SC), and another 7-10 days to take delivery (unless your doing a PDC, or your car receives some in-transit damage which they'll fix at the VPC).

PCD (sorry, I used the wrong acronym above) extends the period of time one waits (i.e. longer wait) by 2-3 weeks approximately, due to the fact that one has to schedule their time at the PCD, and that it gauged by the "estimated" arrival at port (hence, it's scheduled "safely" afterwards).

Vilkz...when you refer to the "website," are you referring to the OC site, or the W&W site where one puts in their VIN to track the vehicle as it is shipped across the Atlantic? If you are referring to the OC site, it is notoriously late in updating. The 800# is typically late updating once the car is shipped to the port of exit.

mmeads...see my correction above regarding PDC versus PCD. Hopefully you are referring to Performance Center Delivery (PCD) instead of Park Distance Control (PDC). My apologies.

if my dealer says "its still showing up as at the port as of 3/1" thats what he said today. DTH said he got confirmation yesterday that he was on the integrity...with that statement from my dealer, does that pretty much seal the deal, that I didnt make the integrity? or could he still be getting information a bit later on??

I just spoke to my dealer and he said the information he has is only about 3 to 4 hours delayed.
