Beta Firmware Updates
I checked the box to download beta firmware updates, seems like there is one every time I plug it into my computer but there are no notes explaining what was changed, does anyone know what these updates are?
Thanks, Jim |

If you only had the "2fa3" (code missing) you should be good, that should clear when you un-install......

To be honest I had the same problem. Brought the car to the dealer to do the recall on injectors and fuel pump. Been fine ever since. Car runs better too

I have a question after installing the cobb.
I have catless dp on my car. However, I cant clear the codes using cobb and the check engine light keeps coming back after 1-2 ignitions. The question is how to remove the code completely? |

currently, you can use the BMS can tool (plugged into ODB port) or BMS O2 simulator (wired into ECU)

The Stage 1 tune currently does not have a dp fix (CEL delete) pre-built into the software. However, you can purchase a dp fix that is hardwired into the ECU to eliminate the CEL on dash from increased emissions.

Rumor has it stage 2 will clear the cel. I have a bms sim on my desk waiting for stage 2 to come out and confirm it works. I am fine with the light on my dash.

Has anyone had issues with 93 octane gas using the 91 octane map? I have read about the limp modes and codes from running the 93 octane maps.

If you overheat you will get limp no matter what map you run...if you heavily track your car you should invest in some cooling mods (e.g. auxiliary oil cooler, maybe even an aftermarket radiator, air ducts) so you have proper cooling and you avoid overheating... |

On a side note, what maps are you running? Have you tried logging your car with the 91 ACN (Arizona, Cali, Nevada) maps vs the 91? Just a consideration to make since you are in Arizona. |

I do an uninstall. Turn the car completely off. Then on again and use the clear all code function again using the AP. Might be overkill but it takes 2seconds and I've had 3 visits to the dealer (1 to work on the turbos under warranty) and no issues.
