Group Buy: LAST CALL..Morel Hybrid Ovations 4"
Chaps,
I have some contacts in the trade and can get some decent discount off RRP for Morel Hybrid Ovations. I have been running the older and now the newer version for a number of years and now swear by them. I came from OEM BMW speakers, then onto Hertz, then Focals and consequently, Morels. The warm tonality these speakers offer are brilliant in comparison to the others and I cannot rate them highly enough. Every review I've read off DIYMA, TA and more have always been positive. With that in mind I will be running a GB on these because 2 people have enquired and I'm sure more will be interested. So Morel Hybrid Ovations 4" 2-way components RRP is £535 This deal runs as follows: 1 piece = £400 each 2 piece = £380 each 3 piece = £350 each 4 piece = £320 each 5 piece = £290 each etc. All prices include insured postage and manufacturers warranty. Please put your names down below if you're interested. Payment will be via paypal gift please or paypal normal (but please cover fees) as I wouldn't be keen to incur those costs. 1. dm2583 2. 3. Wow okay - didn't see that. I was getting these from the only Morel UK distributor. I know of the fake Morels that are going around and I didn't take a chance but upto everyone.
If people want to go through another route, no issues, I can end this GB. Ta. |

A few questions i hope you will be able to answer....
Are these a direct replacement for a standard speaker setup in the BMW... Im currently running the gladen package up front what sort of watts will these need to run at peak operating power as in will i need to swap out the amp aswell at the same time? Have you heard a gladen setup and put these next too it in exactly the same sort of setting and noticed the difference? (im quite happy with my setup as it is at the moment but am always on the look out for something new) |

Everyone's ears are different and have diff sensitivity levels so its hard for me to give an objective view. You just need to read reviews and be confident in your choice, whatever it may be. I'm yet to read an 'on the fence' review of Morels, let alone a bad one. I have heard Gladens and they're excellent, very pleasing to hear when correctly set up. But if you're after musical and warm sounding speakers, make no mistake Morels are incredible. I'm no audiophile but have gone through many speakers, including Focal, Audison, Hertz and now Morels. 4" 2 way components 100wRMS 300w (peak power) 89db 70-25000 Hertz (Frequency response) I am running my Morels fully active using Hertz HDP4. |

I am in... would be great if we can get another couple of people but even at £350 they are great value.
I am trying not to be tempted by the Gladens currently up for sale whilst I wait to see if anyone else joins in!! |

No probs Singh... Gladens are nice for sure but def louder. Not as warm sounding as Morels. It'll be great to compare side by side so once it's done by next week I'll be in touch.
