2003 Z4 for 6k

Looking a daily beater and found a 2003 Z4 with 122k miles for 6k. Would be using this to commute to work about 40miles round trip.

-no accidents
-smog and registration done this year
-maintainance done routinely via car fax report

Thoughts?

I assume the OP will be looking at a 2.5i to save on fuel costs, especially at that price point.

OP: Can you post a link? It sounds like a pretty good deal, assuming the top motor still works and it got its Inspection I/II's done at the right intervals with regular oil changes. The other big service is at 100k: O2 sensor, spark plugs and ATF (if applicable).

I assumed he was looking to buy also, but didn't assume engine size or options.

I have to check if it got the inspection 1/2 done. Top motor needs to be replaced

There's no link since it was a local seller by my house

I bought a '08 Z4 3.0si Coupe 12 months ago to add to share DD duty with the E90. My commute is 80 miles one way. Love the thing. You can get a decent Z4 Coupe for $15K with less miles than the car you are looking at. The '06 - '08 Z4s came with the N52, which will last forever.

if it's a daily driver why do you want a z3? spend the 6k on a toyota or something. way less headache.
