Charge Pipe Question

Hey everyone, i was thinking of getting the ER chargepipe for my 07 335i, but heres my question. If i orde rit can i use the stock diverter or do i NEED to buy the BOV with the chargepipe? I just cant really justify 250+ sollars for basically a noise. So what are my options here?

Buy the one that works with DVs and you can use your stock DVs. Like I did.

check my thread I have a picture of the CP with the stock DVs

Recycling the OEM DVs, it'll sound the exact same. The Forge DVs are a little louder, and then the various BOVs are the most audible

It makes some in my case because I had to vent one of the, to the atmosphere to fit the helix intake.

I think it is 300$ for the Forge DVs

you can start with stock dvs but they are made to go in clip style. If you get the ER pipe for stock DV's, it will make for complications if you upgrade DV's unless you get the Forge DV's with stock clips. I have had issues with leaks on stock clip inserts when they are installed in a coupler with hose clamps.

Forge DVs go for $325-360 (if they're on sale & what not). I'd say use your OEM DVs until they start leaking, then find the Forge DVs & swap them in.

They are pretty easy to swap out. No need to rush and change them if they are good.

JB4 only shouldn't be an issue...

if your car is stock, why are you getting a CP? Get the tune first.
