i am using a 225 ml/min nozzle right now (50% water / 50% meth) and my constant spray starts at 8 psi.
your 375 ml/min nozzle sounds pretty big: is that 1 or 2 sizes larger than my 225 ??
has your large nozzle shown to increase your timing advance? or did you use another method to deduce that the larger nozzle is better?

lastly, i do not understand your statement: IPP @ 4psi ... FPP @ 8psi
can you clarify?
i am new to water / meth injection but having alot of fun with it.

thanks for any insight you can provide.

the larger nozzle is better b/c thats what the horsepower rating is at. 375mL/min is for 300-450 rwhp. according to snow.

IPP stand for initial pump pressure. where the pump turns on
FPP stands for full pump pressure, where the pump is at 100% work.
b/w there is where is gradually increases so its not an on/off thing.

i have advanced timing on the meth map via the procede... (the AA chip can only retard timing another reason i dropped it)

So are you running a beta meth map from Shiv? If so; did you have to use a normally closed relay together with the Safe Injection to trigger the map switching safety feature of the meth map?

very astute. but to answer your initial question no, i do not have shiv's map. i have a custom map from ASR.

but for your second question yes, the map is switched to a non-meth map if God-forbid there is a clog or something wrong and the safeinjection senses no flow. i would get into the details of what Abid told me but that would just expose his way of setting it up, which i do not want to do without permission.

Before we can integrate Methanol injection properly, we need to divorce the map switching function from the remote keyfob/relay and give it to a button on the dash. Which is what we are working on now. Once that is done, we will dedicate the expansion port on the rev2 harness to methanol map triggering. Currently, it is being used by the remote map switcher.

When I ran methanol my car, I gave up the user-induced mapswitch feature for the methanol. I don't want to do that for the final product. I just want to add the meth feature. Not trade something else for it.

is there space anywhere in the enginebay for mounting the meth tank, or do we need a bigger tank, i guess it would be easyer to fit it closer to th engine.
Do you know how long a gallon of meth will last?

With our kit, it will mount in the trunk (driver's side). Not much room to put it under the hood. And I'm not sure I want meth sitting next to the turbos. Even mixed with water.

A gallon will last 1-2 weeks in normal street driving. I suppose if you have a very heavy right foot, it would last only 3-4 days

Great job and can't wait to see how it develops.

will the meth kit only be compatible with revII? Will revI users have to upgrade in order to use the vishnu meth kit?

I believe shiv has mentioned in the past that if Rev. 1 users are willing to give up the speed delimiter, then methanol may be possible.

Who wants to give up speed delimiter when your adding meth?

It is probably easier to just upgrade to Rev 2. Shiv hasn't made any gestures about adding this to Rev 1 even if you gave up the speed delimit.
