Blown struts test for KW v2

I bought some used KW v2 coilsovers. I press down on the strut and it doesn't go up. Does this mean they are blown/worn out?

No

I think only gas filled shocks will extend when released.

V2's should be hard to close and open.

should be pretty normal as shocks resist motion rather than displacement
