Was driving home and got codes 2E81 and 2E84 saying electric coolant pump missing and electric coolant pump speed deviation. Car popped up with a yellow temp light and I just kept trying to go home slowly since I was pretty close, got to a big hill and at the top the temp light went fully red, then the car would not move at all (Limp mode?), managed to nurse it home as a i was only 2 min away and cut it off. Haven’t tried to start it back up yet.
I just replaced the water pump and tstat no longer than 2000 miles ago, is it possible it just came unplugged and the car thought it was overheating?
My oil temp was not even to operating temp yet. Just seeing if anyone has dealt with anything similar, I’m gonna give it a look tomorrow.
