FS: My 2008 335i :(
Hey guys,
Not been around here for a while as I've been busy with work and moving house, but as part of that it's with deepest regret that I'm going to be selling my 335i I'm going to be cycling to work, so she'll only end up sitting on the drive at least 5 days a week, which isn't fair..she's a car to be driven!! I wish I could say it will be to replace it with something bigger and better, but the plan is to save as much money as possible for a house deposit, so lowering outgoings is the name of the game. My old man works at a Nissan dealership and can get me a lease deal on a brand new, well-specced Pulsar which is just too good to miss and will mean I can save at least £450/month. The new car gets delivered in a few weeks so the plan is to offer her up here as is for a week at what I believe is a bargain price, and then I'll put her back to standard, sell the mods on separately and list her on Pistonheads etc. If no luck by the time I pickup the new car then I'll chop her in as part-ex. I'm sure most of you know what the car looks like, and all the info you need can be found in my build thread which can be found here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1054692 In summary though , she's a 2008 335i MSport with the following comprehensive spec list:
As you can see she's really well-specced. There are just under 58k miles on the clock, so the new owner can happily purchase the BMW warranty at the much lower <60k miles prices. I currently pay £40/month on mine. Saying that though she has been really reliable in the 18 months I've had her. The warranty has covered replacement of the water pump and CCC unit but apart from that she's been a real pleasure to drive. She has a full BMW service history and the next service isn't due for another 12k miles. The MOT is due in May and I've got a feeling she'll need two new rear tyres soonish, but all of this is taken into account in the price. In addition to the factory options I have made the following mods:
Now as mentioned if there's no interest in that car with these mods fitted then I'll strip them and advertise here, but I'd say there's a good £2000 worth here if sold on their own. General maintenance wise I had a walnut blasting performed on the inlet a few months ago at TWG, so you won't have to worry about getting this done, and she had new discs and pads all round at the same time (think the iDrive is showing about 70k miles life left!) For all this lovely 335i goodness I am looking for £12k! I would also include the standard parts I have such as speakers, amp, MSport wheel, exhaust etc (althought not the standard MSport sideskirts or diffuser as I swapped mine with Sumil), so it's a lot of car for the money! If that's not enough to tempt you then here are some pics: That'll do for now! If anyone is interested or would like any more pictures or info then just let me know. Cheers, Andy

What a shame you are selling her Andy, your car is a delight to look at and is a credit to you.
I bet you are gutted. If you want to swap a 330i with 23k on the clock + cash, i'll take this beauty off your hands

Thanks for the kind words guys, will be truly sorry to see her go, but at least if she went to a forum member I'd know she was in good hands and will be well looked after.
I'm sure there will be plenty of vultures hovering around for some of the parts, but hopefully somebody will take her as a whole package. I know I could make more money by splitting but there are so many bits to strip out that it would take far too long. |

Very nice car, considering I paid £15k from BMW for my E93 335i last year with similar miles and spec (minus your upgrades) it's a bargain price and I would've bitten your hand off for it a year ago.
It would be a shame to part it out but I know I would be interested in parts along with quite a few others especially as I am he same colour. Good luck with sale, I doubt it will be around for long. Who did your cluster upgrade by the way? It's looks awesome especially the needles |

A couple of things to mention is that I need to transfer the private plate off the car, and also don't pickup my new car until 5th March, so I won't likely be in a position to do the deal until just before then.
Must admit I wasn't expecting so much interest this soon! |

Oh and Col, the cluster upgrade was done by M5rius, who last time I checked was banned from here, but I've got his mobile number if you want it?

Just to clarify, the private plate isn't included with the car.
I'm submitting the paperwork to get it put on retention today and the old reg will likely be assigned back to the car (which I still have the old plates for), so won't be able to hand over the car until this is complete. Apparently it usually takes around a week, but can take longer. Jump on a train matey, I've people from all over the country interested at the moment lol

Thanks bud! She won't be around for long; I can't believe how much serious interest I'd had already! Kind of caught me unawares really as I was fully expecting to be part-exing her when picking up the new car having seen how long it's taken some people to sell theirs!

Hey guys,
I'm happy to say that I've just agreed to take a holding deposit on the car, so she is to all intents and purposes SOLD! Thanks for all of your interest. I still can't quite believe I'm chopping in the 335i for one of these! Needs must though and I guarantee that once I've saved a nice big house deposit I'll be back to BMW ownership in the form of an M4! This forum has just a great family atmosphere that I'll still be hanging around like a bad smell lol. |
