Hello Nick, My 320d 184 bhp RaceChip came factory set at E0. I emailed RaceChip for there recommended setting for max bhp, which they replied with 02. I have been running this setting for nearly 2 months, no issues, no black smoke. Just lots of pwer & torque

Think im gonna treat myself to one of these this weekend, good gains for what looks like 10 mins fitting and simple to remove if need be, do you rate this?

You won't be disappointed, particularly with the Euro as low as it is at the moment. I've got the Racechip Pro and can't see any benefit in going for the Ultimate at 479 Euro.
I filled up for the first time yesterday and my mpg is exactly the same as it was before at just over 34mpg. I expect it to get better over time as I get used to it as i have been particularly heavy footed and flooring it at most opportunities just for the grin factor! Do it, if you don't like it there will always be someone willing to buy if from you. |

I still cant make my mind up on which to go for my 320d. I'm leaning towards the Racechip Pro mainly due to price as I don't think for the extra money its worth going for the ultimate or DTUK CRD-T. If my car wasn't under AUC warranty I'd remap it tomorrow but for now a chip seems the best idea.

Nor could I - so I put mine inside an old, small bike lock bag I had and tucked it down the gap in front of the air box. I wanted to be able to get to it easily to change settings, but it doesn't do any harm so it'll probably stay there.

What settings have you got yours on? Mine came as E0 now have it on F 3 what they say is performance level 2 but cant notice much difference tbh, does pull a little better but was expecting more.

Yeah, that's why I didn't fix mine. I'm surprised that you don't notice that much difference, because I do. Particularly on F3 - but I've now got mine on 03 and the extra torque is amazing. I emailed them for the 'best', highest setting and they just said that each 'left'increment increases the performance by 1.5%. The right just affects how long the increase lasts so doesn't really affect things after a couple more. So left 3 up from the delivered 20% should be an increase of around 24.5%. I haven't checked my mpg for a full tank yet but first impressions are that it hasn't got any worse.
I should add the traction control lights up a lot easier now! |

Certainly have not felt the 40+ bhp and 100nm of torque that its claiming, its not then a million miles from 330d figures and ive drova a standard 330d and mine feels nothing like that on current settings
