Top Five Cars!
Challenge! You have up to £50K to spend on each individual car, you can have five cars, all marques and all years, whats your top five!
After much thinking some of mine may have changed slightly... I'll start! 1. Porsche 356 Coupe - The original Porsche. 2. Porsche 911 (996) GT3 - Trackdays woohoo and not as posey as a 911 turbo 3. BMW E30 M3 Sport Evo - Just because. 4. Ferrari 355 - The most beautiful Ferrari IMHO 5. TVR Sagaris - Outrageously fantastic!

In no particular order and all under £50k as I checked on Autotrader...
1. 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena in classic red - always wanted a Ferrari 2. 1995 Lamborghini Diablo - this car is epic! 3. 2004 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage - ahh Miss Moneypenny... 4. 2005 Porsche 911 997 C2S - becasue every garage needs a Porscha! 5. 2007 E92 M3 - the V8 roars like a lion baby! |

I am not a fan of 'classic' cars - the closest I would go is my mate's immaculate 1994 Porche 993 Carrera. But newish cars all the way for me...
So (in no particular order): 1. 2007 BMW M5 2. Audi RS4 Avant (with some haggling) 3. 2006 Maserati Quatroporte (though I would also wait for a sport model of the GranTurismo to be released and subsequently come down in price) 4. Porsche Caymen S 5. Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG (Wife pleaser)

In no particular order:
1. Porsche Cayenne Turbo (family runaround and covered in plentiful local mud for forays into towns to piss off the tree huggers). 2. 996 GT3 (track machine). 3. Debadged, de-chromed Alpina B3 Coupe in dark met blue or grey. Ultimate stealth weapon as my everyday car. These 3 would do it for me, but, as I have 5: 4. S4 convertible for the wife. 5. E Type Jag Mk 1 coupe. Just because. |

Oh and re the V8 roars....you're right about TVR's...but the Sagaris as the Speed 6.... My Choices? 1. Lotus Exige - great for the track and back road blasts... 2. Touareg V6TDi - great family wagon and ideal to tow Exige to track... 3. Merc CLS Cdi - everyday wafter/intercontinental cruiser.... 4. Mini Cooper S Works - town car (!) 5. Aston V8/Fezza 360/M3/TVR......aaarrrggghhh can't decide...... Good news is that I'm 2/5's of the way there.......

Sorry ChrisBin got a bit carried away and overlooked the £50K limit. A bit like a visit to the dealers. You know the drill, Go in expecting to spend £25K and come out spending £35K
