GVA CIC retrofit?

My 07 is at the dealership for warranty work and they gave me an '11 to drive around. Long story short, I'm really liking the new idrive! Does anyone in Vancouver to full retrofits?

I was seriously considering trading in my car but it's so hard to find a cpo in the right color and packages. It seems every e90 out there is either black, grey, or white, auto, without sport pack :/

Whyyyyyyyy!

because most of them were for demo's and lease returns.
CIC retrofit won't be worth try.

Yeah, along with the wiring, there's the coding aspect as well and "tricking" the car it's a newer model.

Closest you're gonna get as far as I know, are Bimmerretrofit outta Montreal.

Theoretically, you could get all the retrofit parts and hire some other mechanic to do the install for ya, then get someone to do the coding for ya.

It can be done and isn't that bad actually. The coding part is definately not the hardest part for experienced coders.

OP..I suggest contacting bimmerretrofit and find out who is there approved installer in your area. They have one here in Ontario and they do a great job (from what I heard).

I would def like to keep my car if possible. coding can be done remotely, correct?

and the parts i can either get from various moding sites, from junkyards if im lucky or brand new online... it would be cheaper than getting a new car i think counting for depreciation and taxes
i think the hard part for me is the physical install.
