In an ideal world I'd like a tank but I won't be able to afford the additional work required to fit it when I have the loft done, plus I'm not sure there will be room for it.
I may have to accept that we will only be able to have one shower on at a time - which shouldn't be too much of an issue. Reading on the internet the other option would be to have an electric shower in the loft fed by a seperate main pipe from the mains, but then we could be getting into a tricky situaiton with the water board.

Would it be possible to pump water up the loft, to the new electric shower which is thermostat controlled so that it will heat the water only when u use the shower and also, have a thermostatic valve fitted so that no cold water will come through if someone is using the other shower at the same time?
i dunno mr Barn this is slightly too over my head given I have no plum knowledge. |
