That's awesome! It's strange how it's cruising across - not a direct line. I guess it goes more southwesterly (vs. more western route) at first to get close to that grouping of islands in the Atlantic in case there's trouble?

Then it's making a beeline to the U.S. east coast.

Anyway, it looks like it may get in a day early!

Based on Monsta's thread with Integrity's schedule and ports of call, my car won't get off-loaded until 5/3

in Charleston, S.C. It stops in NY/NJ where some of your cars will get off-loaded, then it sails down to Baltimore, then down to Charleston, where mine will finally get re-acquainted with terra-firma.

This matches what my CA said when he said last week that my car will be at the VPC in Charleston the week of 5/5. Looks like it will be toward the end of the month before it makes it to Dallas. I seem to recall in the tracking sticky that the cars are at the VPC on average 7-14 days. Oh well...good things come to those who wait!

My sales manager said that the boat should be docked by early morning tonight/tomorrow at the crack of dawn. And since its the end of the month that BMT transport may send the cars to the dealership the same day (tomorrow) or tuesday to help the dealers with their numbers since its been a slow april.

He told me to stand by to come sign and pickup...... as if I would want to leave the car there for a week before taking delivery.LOL

Yea for sure. Im always up that way.

There are a lot of BMW meets in edgewater on sundays. Maybe we'll catch up to those guys one day.

Wow this would be great!! I hope your SM is right, I'm going to call my CA in the a.m., I figured it would dock early morning or late tonight, so your saying we would clear customs and VPC in a day?

Mine might be treated differently since it was an ED .. but good luck in getting them by the end of the month !!

Just curious.. any of you guys live in a state that requires a front plate and requested no front plate??

Did your dealer give you a hard time requesting no front plate ??

No but I made him write it on my order, on the prep order, on the invoice for the car etc.

I will not take the car if they mount the bracket. I told my sales manager that.

Mine has been giving me a bit of a hard time, but he said he'll put a request that its not put on, but it is dealer policy to install it since its state law, but some dealers care more then others I'm going to remind him when I speak to him tomorrow.

In Texas, the front plate is required, but my CA said his dealership will not drill holes or put the front bracket on unless the customer wants them too. I think they're so used to having customers not wanting them, they just don't automatically do it. I'll kindly remind him as my car gets closer to Dallas.
