Lag and Wastegate Rattle Fix... and it's free for PROcede users
It was buried in another thread but I think this feature is probably significant enough to deserve its own thread.
More info on Lag/Rattle Fix (as well as other features): http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183865 What it does: 1) Eliminates the wastegate rattle problem 2) Eliminates the boost lag issue with 29.2 cars 3) Improves boost response even in cars that don't have the lag issue 4) Eliminates the low RPM "jerkiness" that all these cars seem to have to some degree. 5) Gives back that low/mid RPM "slam" that everyone loved with old-school tunes. It may even be a solution to male pattern baldness. More testing needs to be done on this though. shiv Last edited by OpenFlash; 11-06-2008 at 11:15 AM.. |

EVERYONE needs to update to this (pre OR post 29.2). We are nearing the perfect feel folks... boost response with the aggressive throttle map is so nice, this is how it should be from the factory.

Maybe you should reitterate that it's only free for current Procede users.
If people have the wastegate rattle with their stock 335, then it won't be free for them to use your fix.

Thanks Shiv.
Great idea because this ticking is very bothersome!

Great work Shiv--this is something the whole community has been paying attention to.
By the way, I am NOT a Procede customer, and still think this is awesome.

well, the way i took it was that it was free as far as not having to take it to the dealership and have to go through all that BS and risk the chance of warranty voided....Also its free fix for those that would have no other choice but to pay money out and get for example DPs out in order to bring it back to the dealership for warranty work... If i had that problem It would annoy the shit out of me...I am glad that I have a Procede because if in the future I have these wastegate problems, it would be a no cost to me to get this fixed instead of PAYING someone to get my car back to stock which I would have to because of so many mods, so I can get that annoying ticking /rattling noise out of my car!! So in essence it is a FREE fix for me in the future!!!

Thanks for the kind words guys. It should be pretty obvious with regards to what direction we are going with the PROcede. The next couple of updates are actually the exciting ones!

My Gallardo would get smoked by my 335i on the race gas map. No contest. Not even worth racing

Wow; didn't know that this "Lag Fix" thing should be turned ON for those w/o 29.2 s/w and/or any lag or wastegate rattle issues. Cool!!!
