Our insurance doesn't cover this event right? Cause the one I went to with Parkshore BMW seemed like it was covered

To the OP, are you familiar with any of the rules regarding running groups with PDC? In the past I have gone to many events with pnwr in the US at their local tracks in WA and OR however with the new car being so fun, I might have to give the local track a try. I have a few track days under my belt and I don't think I will have fun in the first-timers group. Is there any way at all to get around this?
Another tip for the newer people to these performance driving events is that make sure you guys have your car prepped! Tire pressures, new brake fluid, good TRACK pads. Stock pads with undoubtly cause some serious braking problems mid-session with most of you guys pushing over 300+hp. With that in mind, I hope my long awaited 6piston/4piston 15" Brembo brakes will arrive before the event fills up. Hope to meet some of you guys at this event! |

yes EMAIL PDC and they will send u a drivers background form and u will most likely get to run in RED group which is novice but NOT FIRST TIMER / Complete Newbie...
I will be in RED group since this is my 1st PDC event and they wont let me go any higher since it is my first time with them...i've been with other clubs locally and at pacific raceway but PDC is pretty strict compared to other clubs... With PDC, once u are in red, u will need to show them specific things before u can move up such as good line and braking at the right points and not just pushing the shit outta your car... go on the their website, if u have any more questions email em or pm me (non PDC related questions) haha

and OEM 335i Brakes are pretty "decent" for this track...motul rbf600 or castrol srf fluid would be a good idea for those who are first timers
i've went with OEM RFT before, they arent THAAAT BAD but i'd still say they are a POS :P

- designated passing areas - braking markers - flag marshals - apex cones - instructors to teach you the CORRECT line Most people that go to these events don't drive like idiots so just have an eye out for drivers around you, check your mirrors and be aware of cars behind you while braking. Other than that, you should be fine. This is a high performance driving event (HPDE). If you're scared then I don't know what to tell you. |

these events have strict rules as it is not an open lapping day for intermediates... if you want to test your car and driving skills, this is a good chance, rather than being an idiot on the street
