Hi Guys,

I've been seriously contemplating using cquartz or one of the various other nano sealants on the market however am torn.

Are these products superior to traditional wax/sealants? I know the nano sealants last longer but is their finish superior to that of a fresh wax? Does it provide that super high gloss over the 2+ years it will be on your car?

Like all LSPs.... durability is determined by the condition/environment.

For Example: CQuartz
If the car is garage and the surface properly maintain ( a regular wash regiment) in an area with mild climate then it is quite possible. There are many hobbyist/enthusiasts who would top the CQuartz with Reload every 3 months to prolong the life of the coating as well as adding some slickness to the surface.


As far as the gloss factor.... see for yourself. Take a look at the reflection of the objects on the door.

Here is a 1988 Porsche 911 that I did 6 months ago. (Multi-step Paint Corrections and polish, CG BlackLight, Jetseal, and CG 50/50 Wax).





Here is the same car 6 months later but with CQuartz UK. (Light polishing, CQuartz UK)





Notice how much more defined the objects in the reflections are. I was very impressed by the depth and the clarity of the finish. After-all, this is a silver car.
