Can't call spurs fans fair weather, there's alot more successful teams to latch onto if that was the case.

I like Ben Arfa as a player, but he is not at the same level as Bale, nowhere near it ATM. I can't think of the goals your on about Ben Arfa scoring, he's scored a couple of decent ones, but that's about it, a couple. Bale has scored 16 PL goals this season, Ben Arfa would never get near that amount as he's too inconsistent, he likes to live of a top class goal for months at a time.

Gareth Bale has only been on the radar for the past 3 years. Before that, he was struggling to get a game. You're probably right, Ben Arfa may never get that amount of goals in a season - but he doesn't play as a forward - unlike Bale.

I think people here have been too quick to judge his ability by his goals - I'm talking as a player that gets your off your seat. I've seen Bale play about 4-5 times this season and I can't honestly say that he get's me 'excited' as a football fan. Yes, he's quick and has a tremendous shot - but apart from push and run trick, there's not really much in his locker. Ben Arfa's natural ability with a ball is breathtaking.

I think he was on a par at spurs as he was with Newcastle, he was unbelievable for spurs at times
