This sucks! No 19" Style 230 wheels for 2008 US spec 335 coupe?!

I just tracked my order.. and it is still tracking with the 19" option.. will call BMWNA tomorrow to see what's up but I am hoping that for those that are already in the cue that we may be fine. If you're not already in the cue, you cant order for supply reason they pulled it--may be a good explanation, but i dont know!

Update tomorroww... stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed.

I havent seen anything in DCS about them taking them off. Makes me slightly happy, that way I will still be one of the only in Utah with them.

Spoke with my CA today. The 19" wheel package issue has been raised to the CEO of BMWNA and there is a good chance that the package will be reintroduced. The decision is expected sometime next week. My CA has changed my 335cp order to Priority 4 (i.e. delayed production by a week or two). I will post an update when i know more.

I hate to be an asshole, but since I have an '07, I'm glad I didn't get stuck with 18s while every other MY got 19s. At least a few more guys will get stuck with 19s.

I can confirm this as well. According to a note I was shown yesterday by my dealer at Vista BMW Coconut Creek the 19" will not be available for the 2008 model year. So we also had to order the 335i Coupe w/o it. It seemed on the note that it won't be available for the whole year but I bet that is not true.

Sad because I love that styling. It was well worth another $1k. Good thing my wife did not care for it that much and it would have made her car stiffer. I personaly don't like the 18" that comes with the sport package. I mean they are nice but the 19" was very solid.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I heard this. It was frigging expensive as hell to get my 230's and I was a little pissed off when I heard they would be an option in 2008!!! I like being the only car in Arizona with these wheels, even if it's only for a little while longer!!!

BTW, the ride would be stiffer if ordered as an option from BMW because you'd get runflats on the 19's. I put non-runflat Michelin PS2s on them and the ride is exactly the same as the standard Sport Package 18" runflats that I test drove...
