Have I been ROBBED !

just had the E92 serviced and MOT it is 4 yr old with 15k miles and going to be given to our son in two weeks time

Fuel filter service

Micro filter service

Brake fluid service

Intake silence service

Service Standard Scope

Oil Service

Air cleaner

MOT

free of charge replace missing door gasket from the last visit and OBD Security software upgrade

For the very reasonable price off £779.56p

I said to the Guy when he called it is only in for a MOT at £55 and you are suggesting I have £730 worth of servicing carried out are you F---- Mental ? They think I'm px it on the 22nd off Nov with them but I'm 99% sure I'm giving it to our son , So said now what can you do it for ? agreed £500 and I think that was to much .

I would really appreciate your views. I feel mugged .They want me to PX and at present the deal they have offered is £300 less than WBAC .COM .

I bought it local to save the internet broker hassles and paid £1k more and the deal I thought we had agreed on it turns out doesn't include the black grills at £102 .

So this evening I'm thinking off telling them to stick the 4 series and just go and buy a new Range Rover Sport

I feel or at least think I have been Royally Bumbed ! lol Cant wait for the customer service questionnaire

THX

Tell them to f*ck off!

They are trying to make you pay for their pre-sales prep. I'd write a complaint to the MD and BMW and cancel the order. They'll likely offer some goodwill.

The question is whether you were asked to drop your boxer shorts before they bent you over the desk.........

I'd not pay more than £300 for that service, you don't even have oil on there which BMW charge £200 for.

I'd do this, or order your 4 series from another BMW dealer.

I would have thought about £350 was right, look at your invoice, is it all itemised?

Make sure they give you the value servicing rate for 3 Series at 4 years old, saves a few quid on the labour.

I told the Salesman his service dept were fucking awful, He allowed me a extra 150 for the px above what we had agreed its value to be . Sort of softened the service bill .

I sat down and went over and over it even discounted down to 500 from the original 730 plus 55 for the mot it seemed expensive

I took the 5 year transferable Service pack that covers 50k miles and also first 3 mots @ £425 on the 430d

Why would you pay to service a car just before trading it in? BMW must love customers who pay top book for the new car, accept bottom book on their p/x and agree to pay to have it serviced before chopping it in.
(Make sure you give it a good polish before you p/x it!)

I had it serviced because I was gifting it to my son , it was too good to px ,I pxd his 325i e90 instead.

I agree about accepting shit money on a PX but stuck it on here for the same price as was offered and had no takers they gave me the same price as WBAC.COM so what are you to do ?

As for paying top book price how would you know what I gave ? Here is a clue I received 7.5% off list and at launch that was 2.5 less than the very best internet deal and 7.5% more than some BMW outlets were bidding me .

Polish it ? No BMW gave it a really decent courteousy clean in and out at the service but thanks for all the tips !

And polishing a car for a trade in is pointless anyway! They give you what they are going to give

The computer tells them the price!

Its better being covered in mud so they can't knock money off for scratches etc as they can't see them
