I paid about $35 for a 5gal drum of VP M1 back in Feb here in NoVA. Your area may be cheaper, but $7 per gallon is cheap enough, especially since I JUST ran out last week - put my last bit in. I have boost juice as a backup until I can go get more.

Look for local retailers that sell VP Racing Fuels and ask whether they sell M1. Comes in a steel 5gal drum. M1 is basically pure meth, where M3 and M5 have additives as if you were running meth as a primary fuel.
rader- I'm from Roanoke and so's my wife. Small world...

wow that is sweet...i might have to go meth afterall...anyone do meth plus e85?
or you guys think it is unnecessary as the meth does enough cooling and increases octane?

This was $35/5gal at C&C in Manassas, VA. Closest place for me, and still 1 hour round trip.

well thats not cheap at all...so how much of the meth does your car actually eat? is it like gas and you can get about 25 miles to the gal? or does it shoot so little that it only uses about a gallon a whole tank of gas?

Indeed. Typos FTL. Got you all worked up, didn't it?!?!
PWM meth only shoots full bore at full throttle, full boost, over a certain RPM. I used my FIRST 5gal drum starting in Feb this year, and I just finished it off last week. The PWM is pulse-width-modulation just like a fuel injector, so it pulses meth into the intake based on demand. For all my 22 mile-a-day city/highway driving with hard acceleration pulls (helps me knock off the cobwebs in the AM and reduces end of the day stress on the way home), I use about a gallon every 2.5-3 weeks. That's about $2.50 a week mixing $7/gal M1 and $1/gal distilled water at 75/25. I have not been to the drag strip or road course since I got the 335, but I have driven a total of 9,000 miles city and highway (meth pulls on the highway seem to drink more meth due to long boost periods) since installing the meth kit. Was using Boost Juice before (more expensive than mixing your own with distilled and M1). Expect to use lots at a track event, but tone your boost level down and keep it at 50/50 per typical racing safety rules unless you have an FIA certified fuel cell for your meth.

lasts longer typically. do you floor it while you drive constantly? all depends on how you drive.

When you're driving normally most people average about 1 gallon per tank of fuel. If you're driving the car hard for extended periods of time it goes quick. With a 50/50 mix it costs about $20 a month. Not bad at all IMHO.
