Hello,

does anyone knows if the JBD also works for the 635d? It's also a M57 engine.

Welcome. You live in a great city. I had the pleasure of visiting Vienna back in the mid 90's during an excusion to Salzburg -- another favorite of mine.

As to your question, I cannot answer that nor do I think anyone else here can. The BMS website lists that it is for the 335d/x5d only.

I would recommend you contact maker of the JBD - Terry Burger at Burger Motorsports (BMS). http://burgertuning.com/ If Terry can make it work on another model car w/M57 I am sure he will.

I already contacted Terry and he means, it should work, but he isn't sure. I should try it out. My problem is, i don't want to trigger any problems on this car, so i thought maybe someone tried it out!
But looks like i have to find it out on my own...

I will keep you guys up to date.

Just wanted to inform you, that the JBD works so far in the 635d.

Cool I beleive its the same ECU they use in Europe with same seetings for USA
