i got DEPO headlight housing which it is after market stuff.

06 325XI pre LCI did not have Angel Eyes so i changed.

i did research pretty much but still didn't figure out those...

if anyone share some knowledge on this, i will be very appreciated

Q1. i am having H7 6000K bulbs lowbeams now and thinking to change 4300k or 5000k. if 4300k is not much brighter than 5000k, i am thinking go with 5000k, but the main purpose is making my night sight brighter... which one should i go?

Q2. i want to change fog light to HID, the ballast that i am using for lowbeam now, can i use those for fog light as well? if it is possible,how about the bulbs for the fog light then?

Q3. what specific ballast and light bulbs are best for Q1?? once again for making night drive view brightest... btw no 55W...only 35W...because of damage issue with 55...

Q4. if i change ballast and lightbulbs for lowbeam then how about the Angel Eyes rings?? it changes too??

i am very sorry for asking too much in one time and noob questions, i am very new on this and need to solve this issue as soon as possible, because i drive at night very much...

also i did research spent many hours but couldn't get clear answer but much confusion...

I remember that error cancelers wont work for fogs and you have to cut the wires and solder some capacitors in it for the fogs to work properly. So to answer your question, yes you can use the ballast, but do a search to find out if you can use the capacitors. I remember I tried the cancelers on mine and they like blew up.

50 watt HID bulbs are a lot brighter and the output color is different than the 35watt. Do a search on that too, there are a lot of threads that talk about it. If i remember correctly from a thread, the 50watt is a lot hotter than the 35watt too so it may burn through your housing. And for the best night output, i would go with 6000k. The higher the temp, the more color but less light output.

Q1: 5000k if you're using 6000k and dont like it
Q2: Every bulb needs one ballast, so if your ballast are powering your low beams you need ballasts for your fog lights
Q3: There is no "specific" ballast that will magically make your bulbs brighter. Try ddmtuning.com
Q4: Since you have Depo headlights with the LED rings, the angel eyes WILL NOT change. Depo headlights have their own powered custom angel eye rings. IF you want to change the bulbs you need to get OEM headlights with Angel eyes so you can swap bulbs

And for your other thread asking about D1S, you can use D1S bulbs since you dont have OEM Xenons. Depo housings use the same bulbs has OEM halogen housings, which are H7.
