Nothing awkward about this type of transaction here in FL... As long as you can prove to be a resident of the state (valid license and/or cwp) testify that your not a felon. You can have a legal transaction.
You both sign a bill of sale, just like you would for the transfer of any property and your good to go.

You guys crack me up. Here in FL A LOT of people carry. I don't know what percentage of the population but enough that it could be quantified by the population.

Florida is a hold your ground state and educated, law abiding citizens, with legal firearms are not to be feared. (Unless your bringing a knock off bbk.. )...j/k

On a serious note: the shotgun is gone- I traded it for a sniper rifle .
