M sport package for E90

hi,

would dealers (such as in melbourne - bibstillwell) fit an M sport package for a e90 325i? has anyone done it? how much does it cost? what does it come with?

any good? i'm actually after the wheels and lowered height springs. 18" pref.

please advise.

thanks.

Anything is available at a price but you have to work out if it is cost efficient. I'd say the cost would be too high with ultimate limited return on your invenstment should you want to sell your car.

There are also non OEM kits available from overseas vendors worthy to consider if having a kit is what you ultimatly want to do.

i do not believe they retrofit the M-sport pack because it actually includes the sports steering wheel, sports suspension, m-sports wheels, front and rear bumper, that black interior lining and sports seats for driver and front passenger.

to order a 3-series that came with a sports pack already cost i think $5000? so to retrofit one would definitely cost more.

if all you're after are the lowered springs and wheels then just go aftermarket. heaps of choices to suit your budget and taste

cool that's what i thought - would be too dear and not worth the investment when i sell the car.

if aftermarket it is, then what are the available options for wheels and springs?

where in Melbourne would you recommend to have this done? i'm afraid of going to some bob t-mart if they are not sure what it is they are doing.

any online marts also?

thanks all.

They can fit the M sport kit for you, whenever you like, but.... The reason you don't hear of it happening much is because it is a very costly excersise!

If it is what you really want, then give them a call, they will do it, but if you dont wanna fork out a large amount of cash for it, then consider something from one of the bmw tuners (pretty hot stuff out there...)

you should check out www.jlevisw.com they sell heaps of stuff for BMWs and are extremely knowledgeable about what would suit your car and what wouldn't. they are based in the USA and will ship from there. take the opportunity of the great exchange rate because buying springs and wheels in Australia will always be more expensive.

^^ you can check out www.carshine .com but they are fairly expensive compared to overseas. However tey do provide a service and if you are happy with paying their price, go for it. They are actually good guys. I've purchased through them before and their knowledge on what they sell is very good.

most of the people in this forum go through either jlevi or www.**********s.com. they are the most popular.

dont be afraid to search the outer forums other than the Australian one. the E90 is the same everywhere.

There are sooo many places that sell tuning parts for BMW's...

JLeviSW are excellent...

I am wary of **********s because I heard they had credit card security problems a little while back.

And do NOT ever deal with AutoTalent (if you wanna know why, just ask)!

Here are a couple of places you might wanna try;
  • Tischer BMW
  • M-Force_Design
  • euro-spec
  • Autobahn
  • The Mod City
  • EAuto
  • corner73
  • UniqueEDesign
  • Turner Motor Sport
  • North American Motorsport
  • CA Automotive
  • BavarianX
  • Bav Auto
  • Bimmian
  • Euro AutoWorks
  • NA Motorworks
  • oembimmerparts
  • UUC Motorworks

...Just to name a few
