Make sure there's 8GB of ram and pickup a SSD as a boot drive and the computer will be lightning fast. Not to mention fairly future proof for at the very least 3-5 years.

Ram is dirt cheap now, and will let you open as many programs or even tabs as you desire without any slow down. SSD's are nearing the $1 per GB sweet spot for very reliable and big name brand drives.

On another note, anyone have some Alpine HID Angel Eyes or LUX LED's in the Bay? I want to check them out in person before pulling the trigger. The stock bulbs are so with the yellow, and my GP Thunders 6500K aren't that much better.

I had lux on my e90 before and they're amazing. I loved the brightness. I'm trying to pick up a new pair.

Their almost twice as much as the Alpine's though, and I know the HID Alpine's put out a stupid amount of brightness. I'm partial as to whether I want that or not.

I want to see them both in person! Maybe ill stop by the Friday night meet in Milpitas and see if anyone has them on there.

Oh and by the way! Do you work with Alan? Haha. We were neighbors in high school and were pretty chill. I know he works at wheeldude now!

I've heard that about the Alpines too but I never seen any in-person. As for the price tag on LUX, they are bank but I like the warranty and the quality. haha. You should definitely come out to the meet this Friday in Milpitas. I'm sure one of the members with either LUX or Alpine will gladly show you.

You know Alan too? haha. Small world! I don't work there anymore but I do stop by frequently and help out when I can.

Yeah came with 8DDR3, 1Tb of hd space, etc.

If you want a solid angel eye look, LUX is the way to go. If you want the super bright angel eye look, alpine hid.

Oh sweet. I was just going to ask LT about those.

Got Orlando to put tires on yesterday, too.

LUX. Bright enough to see during the day. Good amount of light output to stair at'em during the night without wearing sunglasses. Alpine is coo during the day but at night...
