Blackberry Music Gateway in '11 e90
I'm trying to get my phone to play music to my car's system. Tried BT direct to the car and no go. Is the LCI e90 (2011 335i sedan) able to receive BT audio?
I then tried using the Blackberry Music Bridge and no go either. I have the USB cord connected to the car's USB and the auxiliary stereo jack connected to the car's aux in. It seemed to power up and pair with the phone OK even though from searching some people were using a cigarette charger to USB cord to power the device. BTW, my phone is an HTC Incredible 2 Droid. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I guess I'll try a different phone next. Thanks!

OK, I figured it out. The problem I was having was that I had already paired my phone. When I looked for my phone in the iDrive, it only showed the phone part highlighted. The musical note (audio) was not highlighted. To activate the Bluetooth audio portion, you have to select the phone on the screen, then hit options next to the iDrive knob. You then get a choice to configure phone. Select that, check music in addition to phone, and then hit OK. Done!
