Bad strut guides

Started experiencing strange handling and a creaking from the center of the dash, tightened the strut tower braces but it didn't help. Ended up noticing that the passenger strut guide was shot. On HR sports and stock struts for the last 70,000 miles. Car was bottoming out a lot recently and it seemed to have been lower than when I first put the HRs in there. Turns out that the strut guide had deteriorated to the point that it was almost an inch shorter. Bump stop had disintegrated. Replaced guide and have added Koni yellows, smooth as butter again.
