This sounds perfect. I think I'm going to throw these on. Thanks
I would also look into Michelin pilot sport all seasons. I'm running them now and personally think they're an all around better tire than the dws which I had before. Just another option to look at.

Also I never ran winters either and never had an issue. Just comes down to driving smart

Eh. Performance Chassis used to be the best place, when Mark used to do them. I've heard feedback about the guys he hired to do them as not taking NEAR the care that he did, and I've experienced that also.

One co-worker with a miata asked for corner weighting and asked to sit in the car during, they told him they would call him back when they were ready. 45 minutes later they rolled it out and told him it was done. He was annoyed and asked about the weighting, they did it without him, and without any ballast. Did it make a difference for him? Maybe not, but he still felt ripped off and didn't get what he paid for and was agreed upon. I must say that the last time I went there personally the guy that did my car didn't give two craps about it.

I would take my car anywhere that would align to spec. I've even seen dealers do this for no additional charge over the regular alignment. No reason to head over to PC and deal with their hole-ridden, muddy parking lot, long wait times, and hit-or-miss service.

That's too bad. Performance Chassis has/had such a great rep. Sucks to see them going down hill. That said, where else can you walk across the parking lot and get a lap dance while waiting for your car?

Very true, and the grille in the bottom isn't too bad either if you want to grab lunch.

In my case, it ticked me off that they had a new hire do my alignment when I took my $5,000 coilovers in there to get adjusted and aligned. Ohlins Flags in case anyone is wondering. I purposely asked for Mark (and waited weeks for that appointment), and got JimmyBob* instead.

*not his real name... probably.

Freudian slip?

I'd be interested in the responses. I know there are some shops that do it, but from what I hear at Cars N Coffee, it's expensive as crap, like paint job expensive, haven't figured that out yet. Btw I love the blue.

Expect prices to be between 1500-3k+ Depends on type of wrap and who you go to. I would just plastidip for 300 bucks lol

Yeah, I have more rock chips than I thought were possible, I may just have to go with the repaint in the long run.

And thanks I like the blue, its different, which is me, but I am a NC State student, so blue also isnt me very much aha

One of the first fast 335i cars in Raleigh was blue. Don't sweat it and throw a State sticker on the back, you'll be good to go.

Its almost impossible to screw up I live near ncsu if you ever need a garage to tackle the job. I graduated from state in 2011.

I feel like I would get it to thin in some places and too thick in others or get plasitip where I dont want plastidip if I tried to do the whole car.
Also, thanks for the offer, good to know there are fellow Wolfpack people around here!

The equipment they provide when you buy the kit significantly reduces chances of it being to thick and thin. Makes for a very even spray. As for getting places, as long as you prep the car good it shouldnt get anywhere you wouldnt want it. Some places like door jam will get a little over spray but doesnt stick well or at all since its deeper in and does not get a concentrated blast.

Okay, I may try it. Are you speaking from experience on plastidipping the whole car or just knowledgeable on the subject?

Ah ok. Did you use a heat gun or an oven, and what year did you do it on?

I want the clear effect instead of the tinted so I'm thinking about just painting it silver.

Sorry dude, we're talking about two different things. I'm talking about the amber delete on the e90 to get rid of that bobo yellow corner reflector INSIDE the headlight (Joeymod style). It's supposed to be a royal PITA.
