Yes I have purchased two or three things through Stuart at BRM. Goods arrived in a couple of days. No issues at all. Often they don't have everything in stock and have to order things in but even then it has only taken a week. I'd call Stuart, there must be a reason mate BRM are very customer focused IMO

Waited an extra week for some parts to come in once, but other than that, Stuart's customer service is pretty damn good. Have gotten a few other bits and pieces here and there without a problem. He even dropped me off at the train station once. Would definitely recommend him!

Does it work out cheaper buying it from BMR than ordering it yourself direct from o/seas?
Probably if he order regularly from his suppliers in US and have developed a business relationship with them etc. |

Have used him twice, first time I got a Kerscher lip and it went well, he even pre drilled it for me.
Second time I did a larger order of -JB4 -Downpipe -Intercooler -Charge Pipe Ordered and paid in November 2012. Wasn't delivered until Feb 2013 after me chasing him and me having to reschedule mechanic appointments. |

Unlike the USA we don't have hundreds of stores stocking performance parts here in Oz. We should support guys like Jason (eurodiv) and Stuart (BMR) who are active in the community and provide us with a local option. Things may not always be perfect but without local vendors there is no choice but OS imports. Just my opinion

When our dollars were good international vendors was in favor. With this crazy AUD buying locally is not a bad idea. Lol |

With the Aussie$ being where it is recently (about 78 cents today; 94 cents about 6 months ago), the price difference between sourcing from the US is nowhere near as attractive as sourcing locally. Buying OS is not always automatically cheaper; local vendors are sometimes a better option. Doing your sums before committing your money is a must. Unfortunately though, not everything is available locally.

Local vendors source parts from o/seas and hence the delays...they also add a markup, so what are we supporting?
It is always easier and cheaper to order it direct from o/seas. |

I've had good dealings with Stuart (BMR), great guy and most of my parts were sourced through him. He will let you know if there's a delay or if he has no stock, best to contact him and follow up on the parts.
