Oil build up on turbo waste gate? Pics inside

Was changing my spark plugs the other day and noticed a bit of oil spray build up on top of the rear turbo waste gate, looking down from the engine bay.

I have also had a very small watery/oily drip from my IC plumbing (for 2yrs at least, hardly noticeable) and I noticed a small watery oil drip from the rear DP. Not sure if all related, but thinking so.

Car runs solid, pulls hard, no codes. 2007 AT @ 61k.

Is this build up normal over time? Does it indicate the need to replace/service something? The very reputable service shop I use claims this is not uncommon for N54s, but didn't offer much advice.

Thats not normal maybe clean under there and check where its coming from and thats if u down want to just pull the downpipe and check for oil there

Bump. Any thoughts on the build up on top of the waste gate?

Oil is coming out of rear intake pipe going to turbo, its blown off by the vlavecover/pcvsystem into the rear inlet common problem. maybe a bad gasket on the turbo compressor to intake pipe
