was just there today and saw the styrafoam / cast ends and this is a bulky little piece. Engineering said it was about 3 months out which puts us right at summer.
I'll let eric talk about it though

Looking forward to completion, I'll be picking one up. Enjoyed my AMS 35R setup on my previous Evo.

As Nebster said we are planning on having this available in the next three months. Casting takes a while so as much as I would love to get one quicker...its just not likely.

Eric, is there any chance of you guys doing a group buy + discount if you buy your exhaust/dp combo and intercooler all at once? Do you think any of this could include free installation if we were to bring our cars up to the shop?

Well we got out test core in and our cast end tank prototypes are almost done. Sometime next week we hope to have them welded up and installed on the car for a test. If all goes well we might have units to sell is as early as 6 weeks.
Me holding up the core with Drew (engineer) Showing his approval (please excuse the candid setting that is my office haha) Beefy CORE! 6" x 6" and 20" wide. based on volume is should support over 500whp or up to 650 engine HP. (probably should not of used my bear paws as an example lmao!) Cast End tank sample shots sent to us from our foundry. The design was changed a bit as you can see as now we have monster 3" entry and exit pipes. This should allow us to run some larger IC piping We also went down to a 20" wide core as the extra core width was really not needed at at 20" it fits in there nice and snug I am starting to get excited. This coupled with a new upper IC pipe and upgraded BOV/diverter should give our project 335i a good kick in the pants and prepare it for the upgraded FP turbos |

lol, thanks. When most people meet me for the first time they are usually shocked that I have two sleeves but they get used to it quick.
The left arm is all auto orientated. piston, rod, Drag tree, Road race burms, Autocross cones, gas can, Turbo, Exhaust valve etc etc its still just a work in progress. Lots more hours ahead of me in that arm. Just the outline and blue race gas (background) is done on the arm. |

Very nice... looking forward to this and all your products.
Its nice to see this level of attention to detail in 335 mods... why settle for anything less than CAD 3d designed cast parts. It will make this kit rock solid with zero inconsistencies between units... I like... this is a BMW after all... it should have perfect fit and finish... so far that looks to be the case |

quick question guys:
your IC is small enough to run fine with stock turbos, but large enough to handle 650 crank HP ? i would be very curious to see your pressure drop numbers at say 425 crank hp and 650 crank hp. .

IC
let us all know ASAP, this is a Hot Topic, and many are ready to buy now. as you can read if anyone has been following this forum lately. it seems it is all anyone is writing about. your target group is right on for me, and i guess many other. running stock Turbo's, w/ no tune, or slight tune upgrades. and w/ the warmer weather comming we want our BMW's running cool as can be.
remember price is going to play a big part too, a good intro price will be warmly welcomed completion is a healthy environment, keep up the great work. |

I am sooo close to possibly buying the Helix unit, still kinda waiting on this AMS one for testing and installation instructions... but it is getting pretty warm outside and I just don't know if it is going to really be worth the wait for a more expensive FMIC that may or may not really perform any better. Just dunno? Quality is very important to me but I just don't see any problems with the Helix product for reliability, etc.
